Diablo III will continue the story 20 years after the events in Diablo II . The name of the place is Sanctuary , a fantasy world that has gone dark . The hero will have many spells and abilities to aid him in his battles with the dark armies .

The Heroes
All the “old” hero classes have been kept in the game and enhanced and diversified . This way we should be able to create unique characters , and more combinations that Diablo 2 (is that even possible ? 🙂 ) This is what i loved about this world , even on BattleNET where thousand of people played the game you would rarely see someone with the same specs as your character . We were all “uniques” out there and D3 promises us that same feeling
Two more characters will be inserted in the world of diablo , one of them being the Witch Doctor that has huge potential in my opinion , the Gameplay Trailer says it all
One new addition is the ability to choose your characters gender

The World
Although Diablo 2 was linear , you got that feeling that you can do anything you like (as long as you go forward) . Well Blizzard has “fixed” this making the D3 world larger and more complex . Many additional quests will make your life in the game more fun than ever and you will not be forced to stick with the main storyline all the way to the end . This is a big plus in my opinion

Another plus is the fact that you will be able to interact with the environment , create obstacles and ways to block your opponents . Also the ability to create additional routes in your way to the slaughter

The best part ?
BattleNET – that world where all the players meet and fight either between them or in cooperation bringing the game at a new level
Constant upgrades and interaction with the Blizzard crew will make this one great experience
There is not much info around at this time , i am sure in the future more will be revealed

D3 will be linked to D2 by familiar faces , the hero will encounter characters like Deckard Cain and many many more (so I heard) . Also familiar places like Tristram and other towns but the main attractions will be the new areas of the Sanctuary world

The hype is building and we all are hungry for more information

The game is being designed both for Windows and Mac operating systems and will be released on both at the same time . No word yet if it will be ported on a console ( and i don’t actually care )

These 2 clips are from Blizzard and show the mechanics of the game . A gameplay video with one of the most popular characters in Diablo II – The Barbarian

You will see some of the Barbarian Abilities : like Cleave , Leap , Ground Stomp , Whirlwind and the Seismic Slam . The Special Effects are amazing even in this early stage of development and all i can say is WOW . It seems they will keep that same game feeling and i can say the world looks a bit familiar 🙂 Can you guess which set in Diablo 2 looked like that dungeon ?

Hello , i am a Diablo Fan
I have played this game since it appeared , from Diablo I – Diablo II and all the addons . My favourite was (yes you guessed it) Lord of Destruction

When it came out it was a blast , there actually was no competition for this video game , the masses where stunned by it
I was so impressed that i do not have words to describe it
Anyway the years have passed and the game was still good , the story , the feeling , everything sounded perfect
Even now when i stop and think of the days i used to play it , either alone , with my friends or online on BattleNET i get all sensitive 🙂

In this blog i will describe everything there is to describe about Diablo III
When will it appear , the trailers , the inside stories , the fan opinions and any info i can get about this new game .
We all have been expecting this for quite some time now , and our hopes are really up the roof
Also i will compare as much as i can with the older games , i will make a parallel between the modern game and the wise grandfather , and i do hope that things remain on the same path
The Diablo 2 world was perfect , no flaw , the story and the feeling .. i have to say that they where not matched until today (some of you may get angry but this is my opinion)

In our days there is NO game that rivals the DIABLO Universe

I am not talking about the picture (the resolution is low indeed) but the feeling , the music , and the overall passion that was embedded in them

This was the clip at the beginning of the game , this was supposed to intrigue the player and make him start the journey .
Well it reached its purpose and i was totally “corrupted”
This was the clip that started my passion for Diablo 2 , and even now when i see it i want to start all over again

It is indeed a Calling and i had no idea that that would be the beginning of a great adventure .

Thanks to this game i met a great group of guys that shared the same passion !
